Armstrong Produce uses five major wholesalers/distributors in Hawaii to supply produce grown locally and from the mainland. Armstrong supplied $22.4 million in fresh fruits and vegetables to the five commissaries in Hawaii during calendar year 2008. Of this, $5 million was procured locally.
