AGILITY n Definition: “the ability to change the position of the body quickly and to control the movement of your whole body” n Test:illinois agility run

BALANCE n Definition: “the ability to retain the centre of mass (gravity) of the body above the base of support with reference to STATIC (stationary) or DYNAMIC (changing) conditions of movement, shape and orientation. n Test:Stalk test

CO-ORDINATION n Definition: “the ability to use two or more body parts together” n Test:Alternate hand wall toss test

POWER n Definition: “the ability to do strength performance quickly” Power = strength x speed n Test:Standing broad/vertical jump

REACTION TIME n Definition: “the time between the presentation of a STIMULUS and the onset of movement” n Test:Ruler drop test

SPEED n Definition: “the differential rate an individual is able to perform a movement or cover a distance in a short period of time” n Test:30 metre sprint test
