3. Creative task The creative task exam is on the 23 rd /24 th of April If you have forgotten you time please come and see Mrs Sanders You will have 5 minutes to look and listen to the 6 stimuli and 45 minutes to compose

8. Revision There are 4 areas to revise: 1.AOS 2- Shared music 2.AOS3- Dance music 3.AOS4: descriptive music 4.Music listening

9. AOS 2 shared music Revise: The type of ensemble How they interact What musical period this is from Typical music features Listen to lots of Baroque and classical music and try to identify the differences between each era

10. AOS 3 dance music Use the study guide and bitsize to revise: Key musical features (especially rhythm) The county/dates And how the music complements the dance

11. AOS4 descriptive music Listen to as much descriptive music as possible and practice writing HOW the music represents the story/mood If you are finding this hard break it down into musical elements: Pitch Rhythm/tempo Dynamics Harmony Structure Phrasing Instrument techniques/compositional techniques
