The Promotion Went to cadet camp training to be an officer. Was promoted on 4-4-1917 from the 25 th Infantry Battalion. Victoria Rifles as a temporary Lieutenant. Nova Scotia to 60th Infantry Battalion.

Casualty 13 days after his promotion and transfer to the 60 th Bat. He had a gunshot wound [GSW], and shrapnel wounds in the left hand and left hip He was taken to Boulogne, France treated with a fracture to the base of the skull and died.
