7 Beaver Scout Section Young people aged 6, 7 & 8 Weekly Meetings are on Tuesday from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm The Beaver Section Leaders are Brian, Anna, Marie, Mary and Sonya www.86mtmerrionscouts.ie

8 Cub Scout Section Young people aged 9, 10 & 11 Weekly Meetings are on Monday from 7.15 pm to 8.30 pm The Cub Section Leaders are Jenny, John, Clodagh, Dee and Olga www.86mtmerrionscouts.ie

9 Scout Section Young people aged 12, 13, 14 & 15 Weekly Meetings are on Wednesday from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm The Scout Section Leaders are Owen, Catriona, Colin, Caroline and Ciara www.86mtmerrionscouts.ie

11 GDP: What we’ve achieved so far A section leader and full leader team for every section during 2010/ 2011 All group appointments filled (secretary, treasurer, facilities manager, quartermaster) A group training day & support structure for leaders All leaders registered as members of SI Hall painting & upkeep

12 GDP: What we’ve achieved so far Very successful annual camps for cubs & scouts Sixer Councils & PLC’s operating Numerous activities and camping nights in all sections Significant investment in equipment Rental of Scout Hall Bank balance remains in the black!

13 GDP: Targets for 2011/ 2012 Grow on the successes made in each section (numbers, youth led participation, activities) Transition to the new programme Higher levels of parent/ leader interaction
