Time Management~ Defined! What is Time Management? Time Management - refers to a range of skills, tools, and techniques used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects and goals. How to create an agenda! Prioritize based on importance: Use a planner/ make a list ▫Study (homework), Laundry, Eating, Watch T.V. PLAN to stay ahead! Use a planner to help: See the BIG picture (select a planner that you will be likely to carry with you) Plan ahead (record important test dates, project due dates, etc…) Be time efficient (keep your planner handy at ALL times & use pencil as schedules tend to change) 12/7/2015Center for Academic Support Services (CASS)

Setting Weekly/Monthly goals! This is simple…. Make a list of the things that you need to accomplish within the week! (finish homework, wash/fold clothes, grocery shop…) Make a list of the things that you could get done by the end of the month! Implementing Technology! Using cell phones (email, calendars, to-do lists) Alarm clocks (set 10 minutes early) Set daily reminders on computers for (assignments, events, meetings…etc) 12/7/2015Center for Academic Support Services (CASS)
