5. What does SCEC stand for??? And what is it???  SCEC stands for the Student Council for Exceptional Children  SCEC is a student organization that provides professional develop to future educators of special education and general education.  You DO NOT have to be a special education major to join and participate!!!  You just have to have a passion for working with individuals with exceptionalities!!!

6. MORE about SCEC…  SCEC is NOT mandatory for Special Ed. Majors! However, it is a great and easy way to get your mandatory volunteer hours fulfilled!

7. Mark your calendars!!!  First Event: January 28 at Andrews Hall Basement from 5- 7pm: “Mixer Theme”  Second Meeting: February 17 in Buzzard Auditorium at 6pm: Curtis from Big Bro/Big Sis will be joining us! Kim will be back, too!  Second Event: February 25 in Andrews Hall Basement from 5-7pm: Theme TBA  Third Meeting: March 10 in Buzzard Auditorium at 6pm. This is our joint meeting with Sig Rho! Worth: 1point!
