2 + Science 1 st grade Summary- The purpose of this Instructional PowerPoint is to help students learn about a butterfly life cycle. Given information on the slides and assigned websites, students will be able to answer questions pertaining to a butterfly life cycle. Learning Objective- Given assigned websites and information and questions on the slides, students will be able to observe and describe the life cycle of a butterfly with 100% accuracy. Standard- GLE 0107.4.1 Observe and illustrate the life cycle of animals. Accomplishment: Students will be able to describe the life cycle of a butterfly.

Butterflies are the adult flying stage of certain insects belonging to an order or group called Lepidoptera.
