Opportunities to Make Wisconsin The Healthiest State October 2015

Introduction Improving broad health outcomes in Wisconsin- how long and how well people live- requires improvement in specific health indicators spanning several health factor areas. The model to the right, from the County Health Rankings, shows four modifiable health factor areas that influence health outcomes.

Overview of the Report Each indicator is presented in a consistent format, comparing the values for: Wisconsin the United States the best and worst states, and Minnesota, our healthier neighboring state
