Obedience Saul’s next mission: utterly destroy Amalekites 15:1-3 Saul attacked the Amalekites v.8 Killed all the people except King Agag Spared the best sheep and oxen v.9 God rejected Saul for disobedience v.10-13 Religious excuse is not acceptible v.15-16 Partial obedience is no obedience at all v.13, 20 Shifting blame to others is ineffective v.21 Obedience is greater than animal sacrifices v.22-23
