The 1920’s and 1930’s was a time of change, not only in sports and economics but hugely in music and dance. The progression of music and dance accurately demonstratedthe changes in society of this time. There were many great influences that changed the entire music industry, the progression of music changed tremendously, dances became more popular and people began to view the changes with a different perspective.

The changes in the musical world during the 1920’s accurately demonstrated the change in society throughout Canada. With the influence of different artists, new forms of music and dance were created which appealed to the younger generations of the time. Some of these influence caused controversy for some, however, the musical changes had an overall positive effect on society of the 1920s and 30s.
