2 COMMUNITY STRATEGIES: SHARED LIVING - MA Comprehensive Program Review May 31, 2013

3 WHAT IS SHARED LIVING? Shared Living is similar to foster care living arrangements. The objective is to provide the individual with a more “normal” living experience than a group home or forced roommate situation will allow. This living arrangement provides the opportunity for long lasting, natural relationships. The person placed is seen as more of an individual. This is a very cost effective model.
