4 Circle/ Pie Graph Shaped like a CIRCLE Divided into fractions that look like pieces of pie

5 Bar Graph Uses bars to show data Can be vertical (up or down), or horizontal (cross). The data can be words or numbers

6 Picture Graph Uses pictures or symbols to show data

7 Histogram A special kind of bar graph. Data must be shown as numbers in order

8 Line Graph Shows points plotted on a graph

13 What are maps??? A representation usually on a plane surface, of a region of the earth

15 Political Maps Designed to show governmental boundaries of countries, states and countries, the location of major cities, and they usually include significant bodies of water.

16 Relief Maps A map that depticts land configuration usually with contour lines

17 ClimateMaps A deptiction of prevailing weather patterns in a given area

18 Vegetation Maps A map showing the pattern of vegetation in an area. (Botany)

19 Population Maps A map that shows different population of the world. It is an example of a Thematic Map. Shows a certain area of population.

21 What are tables??? Is a set of data elements (values) that are organizes using a model of vertical columns and horizontal rows. Is a means of arranging data in rows and columns the use of tables is pervasive throughout all communication, research, and data analysis.

22 What are tables??? Appear in print media, handwritten notes, computer software, architectural ornamentation, traffic signs, and many other places.
