Guest speaker Joe Roberts
5
Selection panel This year we have a small panel, consisting of just 10 judges, collectively representing local and international palates.
6
Smaller volumes The judges chose a significantly smaller collection of 132 original, distinctive South African wines to be auctioned.
7
Results? We saw a drop in volume from the 25,444 litres sold at 2012 to 12,426 on auction this year.
8
New Producers Aaldering Calitzdorp Claim d’Or Domaine des Dieux Haskell Hermanuspietersfontein Meerlust Mullineux Scalie Welgemeend
9
Private buyers The auction used to be for licenced buyers only, but this year we have invited a number of private buyers.
10
Qlikview a new way to present information.

Forever young… Special concession for young wines has been made this year. Start-ups with small volumes have a chance to showcase their finest wines before they sell out.
