My hypothesis is that plain water would rust Steel cotton the fastest.

1. Set out cups in a dry area. 2. Pour 1/2 cup amount of each liquid in the petry cups 3. Place the steel wool in each cup in equal amount 4. Check on each cup every day, checking for rust 5. Record data every day.

My conclusion was that salt water rusted the steel wool the fastest, my prediction was wrong.
