The QEP is students! Student Focus Groups A major theme that emerged was concern about the effectiveness of the advising process for new students. This theme was mirrored in the comments from the employee “white paper” vote.

The QEP is students! “Brown Paper” Feedback Students need more information about financial aid and transfer courses. Information needs to be consistent (and accurate) across campus. Study skills (ACA) needs to be taken in the first semester.

The QEP is data! In the Fall of 2006 86.5 % of students taking ACA return in the Spring Semester. 60.7 % of students not taking ACA return in the Spring semester

The QEP is data! Retention rates for GOT and AA Transfer students compared to the college retention rate for the year. GOT and AA Transfer accounted for about half of ACA enrollments.
