Shore Facilities- Spectacle Island n Armaments Depot 1865. n Longest continuously serving naval base in Australia. n Armaments work ceased in 1979 on the Island. n Now the Main Repository for the Naval Heritage Collection.

Shore Facilities – Garden Island n Originally a mooring area only. n Naval base built 1800 – 1895. n On-going infrastructure additions until present day. n Now includes Fleet Base -East.

Shore Facilities – Captain Cook Graving Dock n Build by the MSB 1941 – 1945. n Still the largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere. n Repair & Maintenance only. n A strategic asset.
