Conflict Review Identify 3 reasons conflict may exist, provide evidence from presentations. What types of conflict best pertain to our studies? When does conflict escalate?

UN Review Summarize 3 main goals of UN. Structure & purpose of General Assembly? Structure & purpose of Security Council? Remaining organs of UN?

Conflict Resolution Review Two fundamental principles of peacekeeping? Difference between peace keeping – making – building? Process?

Conflict Reflection Discuss your understanding of conflict: – What social, economic, and political conditions characterize countries with the most severe examples of conflict? – What role will technological advances in communication play in combating conflict? – Do international organizations have the right to violate a country's sovereignty in order to protect innocent civilians? – Is peaceful resolution of international conflict possible?

Skill Reflection Discuss your mastery of the skills we focused on in this unit, “Finding, Evaluating, and Citing Resources.” What did you learn about the research process? What did you learn about yourself as a researcher? How will you use this skill going forward?
