Routinely Used Respirator Inspections Tightness of connections Elastomeric parts –pliability - elasticity –deterioration Valves - Valve covers Cartridges / filters

Emergency Use Written certification of monthly inspections On a tag Repairs by appropriately trained individual In accordance with manufacturer’s specs Reducing / Admission valves and regulators and alarms by the manufacturer or technician trained by the manufacturer

Storage Protected from damage –dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, moisture, damaging chemicals Emergency use –Near the work area –In clearly marked compartments –Stored according to manufacturers specs
