2. Event One The first event that I think is important is that Bruno’s dad (The commandant of Auschwitz) is actually based off a real Auschwitz commandant. 3. The second event that is in the novel and that exists is the concentration camp Auschwitz. 4. The third event that is in then novel and that exist, is the Holocaust, because it’s about the Holocaust, and what they did during that time.
