18. Emerging Issues Computers as Appliances Computer Literacy Computer literacy will become as important as being able to read. Computers will be a common household appliance.

19. Emerging Issues Decentralized Instruction Changing Role of the Teacher Teachers will become facilitators of learning. They will be the designers of instruction. Distance delivery and alternative delivery such as virtual learning communities may be forms of instruction.
