Leading continuity and progression in P1 Transition from Nursery to P1 is easier where pupils may have the opportunity to – Self register Choose the activity that they would like to start their day with (Soft Start) Where Literacy and Numeracy activities/areas are planned to consolidate and develop learning Classroom areas are defined eg Writing Area, Book Corner, Maths Area, Teaching table, Creative Area, Construction etc
