INC Report to the NANC – March 15, 2005 3 CO/NXX Subcommittee Issue 453: Forecast Improvements Centralizes forecast submissions by SPs through NANPA by adding six-month forecasting data to FCC Form 502, thereby eliminating Thousands-Block Pool Forecast Report (Appendix 1). Suggests development of mechanized interface between NANPA and PA to permit PA to continue to manage/forecast the industry pool on a 6-month basis. This issue will impact FCC Form 502, and the NAS and PAS number administration systems. INC is working this issue and will inform the NANC of its progress.

INC Report to the NANC – March 15, 2005 4 CO/NXX Subcommittee Issue 466: Update COCAG Appendix C for Code Holder Changes in NPAC INC opened this issue in response to a request from the LNPA Working Group. This issue addressed the request to modify the COCAG Appendix C to include the Coordinated Industry Effort Process as an option for SPs to change the Code Holder of an NXX in the NPAC. INC was contacted by the LNPA Working Group with suggested changes to the COCAG; issue is still being worked.

INC Report to the NANC – March 15, 2005 5 NPA Subcommittee US Dept. of Navy Request for NPA INC received, organized and prioritized feedback from industry forums/committees with nearly 100 questions in response to its request for input. INC scheduled a cross-committee meeting to allow DoN to address the questions of the committees in an expedited fashion. DoN asked INC to table the issue on March 3, 2005. DoN will use the next 90 days to conduct further analysis and review, and to try to satisfactorily resolve questions concerning a Navy area code concept.
