Our Society Founded in 1950, we are a global, inclusive, non-profit organization focused on issues of interest to women specializing in engineering and technical careers. 33,000 society members 400 collegiate and professional sections Our Logo:

Mission Statement “To stimulate women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.”

Our Region and Section Region G: Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and western Pennsylvania –32 collegiate sections and 6 professional sections University of Cincinnati (G053) founded 1976 –Celebrating 40 years in 2016! –Partner with South Ohio Professional Section Annual Leadership Summit, Regional Conferences, Monthly Social Outings General Meetings every other Monday 6-7 PM –Manufacturing, Quality, R&D –Working with people who aren’t like you.

Fighting Hunger 5k –look for registration info in Oct –Montgomery, Sat 11/7, 8:30 AM (race starts) –$18 to register (10+ people) Kennel Volunteering @ Southwest Doberman Rescue –New Richmond (30 min east) –Look for info in early Nov! ITN Greater Cincinnati –Driving senior citizens to their appointments, social events, etc. –Must have a car
