How does the Sahara desert affect the culture of the people living there? 2. Record the definition below: Landlocked Country  A country that is surrounded by land on all sides, no ocean ports.

3 Clip Questions Write your name on your worksheet. Turn to the back and divide it in half. In one of the sections, answer the questions below as you watch the clip. 1.List the major physical features in Africa. 2.Which physical features will make trade difficult?

4 Directions Change the chart columns to reflect what is below: Column 1 – Explanation and Examples Column 2 – Political and Social Effects Column 3 – Economic Effects
