ROBOTICS  XLRATION: Robo-race event on an all terrain surface.  ROBOWARS: Design and construct a wired robot proficient in fighting a one-on-one battle.  ROBOSOCCER: Design a manually controlled bot which is capable of playing football.  INSTAROBO: Make a robot from parts provided on the spot.  AQUATRICKS: Make a bot capable for travelling on both land and water  TRACK-MANIA: Design a line follower robot.  LORD OF THE SKIES: A ircraft design-cum-Flying event.

11. ANTI-CHESS  Anti-Chess is a chess variant in which the objective of the participants is to get all of their pieces captured. Thus, your goal is to code a strategy that will make you the best loser in chess.

12. SHERLOCKED  With the tagline saying “Even mysteries can be fun", Sherlocked will engross as well as surprise you with the mystery solving problem statements.

13. TECHBIZ QUIZ  Simple quiz games involving both registered teams and general audience mainly on the topics of business and technology.

14. SHUTTERBUGS  An inter-college photography contest conducted during Dakshh.

15. PETRI-PAINTING  Contest among paintings made in petri dishes.

16. SPECIAL MENTION: FLIER CLUB  A newly formed club in order to encourage aero-modelling & flying. Led by a group of aero-modelling enthusiasts, the club started its activity at a snail’s pace after its formation in early August last year. Their first activity was a quadro-copter workshop organized by ROBONEXT”15 & IIT-Bombay at the college itself. The club had organized Lord of the Skies in Dakshh’14 even before it was formed. Besides its members are known to have a good reputation at the National Aero-modelling competition sponsored by Boeing at Kshitij. This year also Flier’s members will take part in the competition scheduled to be held on 31 st of January,2015. The club is slowly growing with 45-plus registered members.
