Schematic representation of the constructs introduced into tobacco plants. The P35S:GUS constructs contain the protein coding region of GUS (GUS; gray box) driven by the CaMV 35S promoter. PGLN:anti-HBs478LC-P35S:anti-HBs478HC constructs contain the protein-coding region for the antibody against hepatitis B virus protein No. 478. The L chain (478LC; open box) was driven by the tobacco glucanase promoter (GLN) and the H chain (478HC; open box) was driven by the CaMV 35S promoter.

Relative expression (At2g43060/ actin) WT#1#2#9#12#13#15 AtIBH1sx Figure S2. The dwarf phenotype depends on expression of P35S:AtIBH1SRDX in tobacco. Upper photo shows tobacco plants of wild type (wt) and P35S:AtIBH1SRDX (AtIBH1sx). Bar = 15 cm. Lower panel shows relative expression of the AtIBH1- SRDX transgene in each P35S:AtIBH1SRDX transgenic tobacco plant. Transcript levels of AtIBH1 were normalized to Actin expression. Sup.
