Summary Changes: Children are required to reach higher standards. There is an emphasis on number and recall of key facts. A new assessment system.

What we are doing What we are doing: Completing a skills and resource audit to ensure quality first teaching. Tracking children’s progress to ensure high attainment, including narrowing the gap for children who find maths hard. Completing pupil interviews to develop enjoyment of maths Calculation policy to ensure progression through consistent approaches. Key recall facts part of homework.
