3. I would bring sunflower seeds because if I get hungry I can eat them. On page 110 when Brian ate the turtle eggs and they tasted horrible.I would also bring them because they are my favorite treat.

4. My second choice would be a hunting gun because if I run out of food I could hunt animals from a far away distance. Another reason is for protection. An example would be when Brian got charged by the moose or when the bear was next to him when he was getting his berries.

5. My third choice would be a hatchet because in the book Brian’s mother gave him a hatchet. The hatchet was used for many things like starting a fire, or cutting down trees.

6. For a fourth choice I would bring matches because matches can do lots of stuff like providing fire or a signal Brian could have used this to start a fire instead of using his hatchet.

7. I would bring gatorade because when I get thirsty I can drink it. On page 45 Brian drank the lake water with a dead body in it I would not have enjoyed that. it’s important because if your dehydrated you need something to drink.

8. My sixth choice would be a first aid kit because if I get hurt I can use it to heal myself. Like on page 37 when Brian got stung by all the mosquitoes and small little black flies. its important to bring a first aid kit because you don’t want to get something infected or die because of poison.

9. My seventh choice would be a flashlight because if its really dark out and I’m lost I can use a flashlight to find my way back to shelter. On page 92 when Brian made a fire for when it gets dark.

10. Incase I am really bored and have nothing to do I can just toss it up and mess around. On page 95 when Brian chopped down the tree I thought that would be fun.
