4. Acceleration is measured in meters per second squared(m/s 2 ). is the change in velocity as a function of time A car Accelerates as it speeds up Increases speed as you step on the pedal (gas)

Inertia –First Law Of Motion is an object at rest must remain at rest (has inertia) till an external force is acted upon it an object in motion must remain in motion (inertia) till a force is acted upon it –An object that is not subject to any outside forces moves at a constant velocity, Example Car slammed into a brick wall at 70mph its motion was stopped to screeching halt by the external force which in this case is the wall
