Employer Portal

Customers will migrate to the new employer portal on their plan’s migration date. Customers and brokers (with portal access) will have access to the new employer portal on the effective date. While there will be some changes to current process, employers will benefit from: –An improved and cleaner look and feel –Faster transaction processing time

Portal Access Overview For Migrating Customers: Current enrollment changes can be made until the day before customer’s migration date Customers and brokers will not be able to process Open Enrollment changes through the Employer Portal until their effective date Once a Customer Migrates: New portal available on effective date If retroactive member terminations are required: –If the termination is effective on or after the customer migration date, it can be processed via the Employer Portal. –If the termination is effective prior to the customer migration date, it can faxed to enrollment OR be processed by mail.

Changes to Current Processes & Portal Functionality Real-time transaction processing All existing customers will be migrated with existing login credentials Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) retiree indicator no longer necessary Reinstatements 45 days Requesting / printing an ID card Administrative rights: Forms must be completed Customer Employee counts will not display Zip code verification required (HMO/POS and National) Processing transactions: must review all screens for confirmation Additional Relationship to Insured (RTI) codes

Employer Portal Transition (2-99) Current Portal Experience – Until 12/31/2013 New Portal Experience – Starting on 1/1/2014 January 1, 2014 Effective Date Can make changes to current enrollment (update, add, delete a member) Can make changes to enrollment (update, add, delete a member) Can make retroactive changes that are effective on or AFTER 1/1/2014 Cannot make retroactive changes PRIOR to an effective date of 1/1/2014 Alternative Complete and submit a paper application via fax to your Account Executive or Customer Service. Fax to 215-238-7067. Cannot complete open enrollment transactions for 1/1/2014 or after Alternatives Obtain an Enrollment Form spreadsheet from your Account Executive to fill out Open Enrollment (51-99 groups), or Complete and submit a paper application and fax back to 215-238-7067, or If your group is making a benefit change for open enrollment through ROAM, you can: Change employee from one product or group to another Add a new employee

Impact to Employers How Employers will Transition to the New Portal Open Enrollment Life Event New Employer Portal Processing outstanding transactions Retro Changes Transactions effective prior to the migration date must be processed through current portal before transitioning to new portal. Any retro changes with effective dates prior to the employer’s migration must be handled manually. Using the new portal All transactions and changes with an effective date after transition to the new portal must be held and submitted through the new portal after migration. Once employer migrates, the user will only have access to the new employer portal. Will not be able to perform OE Life Event on Employer Portal for year they are migrating to new platform Industry Expertise Current Year Enrollment Maintenance Will have access to the current IBC portal to perform maintenance until the end of the day before they migrate.

Manage Enrollment New enrollments can be added, members can be changed, and terminated Most enrollment transactions will start by searching by name, group number or member ID.

Find Employee Search Results The employer selects the desired employee record. The dropdown allows the user to select the desired action. Most enrollment updates are done in real time.

Enrollment Summaries Enrollment summaries can be accessed at any time, and are displayed before submitting enrollment changes. This will replace the existing transaction history. New transactions can be started from the buttons at the bottom of the page.

Electronic Billing Online bill review and payments are handled through e-Bill. E-Bill handles clients that are premium billed (fully insured) as well as clients that are claims billed self- funded).

Electronic Billing Customers can drill down into reports and view prior months’ bills. Email notices alert customers when a new bill is available.
