DEFINITION ◦ A direct object is a noun or pronoun that receives the action of the verb. Direct objects can be compound or have two or more words. It's a type of complement which is a word or group of words that completes the meaning of a subject and a verb.

◦ She walked their Golden Retriever. ◦ He rode on his skateboard. ◦ She drove her blue porshe to Kroger. ◦ She gave the cookies to the orphan kids. Examples/Sentences
