* Hepatitis A is an enteric virus that is very small. It can be transferred through contaminated water, causing outbreaks. The virus is eliminated by a person carrying it, and if the sewage contaminates the water supply, then the virus is carried in the water until it is consumed by a host.

* Dangerous and sometimes deadly biological contaminant found in water or in foods washed with contaminated water(most common in raw seafood) * Symptoms include mild to severe diarrhea, vomiting and dehydration, and can last anywhere from a few hours, up to five days. * Replenishing fluids and using antibiotics is the only way to shorten duration of symptoms.

* E. coli (Escherichia coli) is a type of fecal coliform bacteria found in the intestines of animals and humans. * There are numerous strains of E.coli, the majority of which are harmless. However, E.coli strain 0157:H7 is one of the most serious drinking water contaminants. * It is responsible for numerous North America deaths each year.
