1. SULTANGAZİ CUMHURİYET PRIMARY SCHOOL REPORTS OF YEARS

2. An environmental engineer gave lessons to all of our students at the school in order to improve the awareness about environmental problems. That is continued for one week

3. In February willing of surroundings Prof Dr. Orhan Kural gave a great conferance to mast of our students about environmental awaransess.

4. Also a roportaj was made with Orhan Kural for our school’s newspaper.

5. We also prepared a compatation among the students about environmental problems. They brought their own drawings, pictures, caricatures sayings, proverbs…. Etc

6. Mehmet Kaya is preparing a school theatre with the students. They are planning the performance the play in November 2008.

7. During the dates of 15th and 16th of May we set up a companty to collect waste papers 6900 kg of waste papers were collected and they were given to an institude that works on regaining of waste papers. Moreover we gave a book, as a present, to the students who brought the most amount of waste papers.

8. During the dates of 28th and 30th of May we got involved to a science exhibition which was exhibition in Feshane.

9. We are planning to go to İSTAÇ on the 5th of June, in order to show students the regaining process of waste papers and any other wastes.

10. İSTAÇ AŞ İSTAÇ is an institude that regains every kinds of wastes and protects environment, so that we prepared a raport about İSTAÇ’S aim in our school newspaper.

11. IN ORDER TO EXPLAIN IT’S DUTY AND IMPORTANCE FOR ENVİRONMENT IN DETAIL,WE PREPARED A VISIT TO ISTAÇ(RECYLING CENTER) WITH OUR STUDENTS FROM THE SCHOOL.

14. Every day almost 1400 ton household waste come and the products of decomposition is made here.

15. Organic waste is firstly passed through a sift with electric and then it is made fermentation.

16. Plastics in the waste are collected and are pressed. then these plastics granuls are sold for reusing as a raw material.

17. Bottles and other things that are produced from petrol are used to produce the ripe or the cord. Metal waste is reused again as a metal. and some of them can be used as fuel oil.

18. Household waste is fermented after measuring air and water inside of it. be waited for 8 weeks and it is passed though sift later the part on the top is used in the solid to rise productivity.
