Final Projects Purpose: Is to give you an opportunity to analyze data completely on your own To apply your analysis skills to broader societal or scientific concern To present your findings in both written and spoken form

Final project consist of: A paper with 3 stages (15% of your grade) A presentation usually presented during the 10 th week of class (5% of your grade) Working collaboratively with a partner

Stages Stage I: Reviewing the data. Is to help you familiarize yourselves with the data. Stage II: Making Charts for your Final Project. At this point you are required to make an effective graph and write descriptive paragraphs about the graph. Stage III: The final stage is to write the paper and create and give your presentation.

Due dates: Stage I due: Monday May 12th Stage II due: Wednesday May 21st Stage III due: Friday June 6th Presentations on June 2 nd and June 4 th.
