Rural Youth in Poverty Rural youth are 22% more likely to live in poverty Less education attained Fewer Job Possibilities Poorly developed social skills Risky sexual behavior and teen pregnancy Early marriage Tobacco, alcohol, and drug use Delinquency

Proposal I propose to create an organization for the youth of rural communities. A place for teenagers to hang out and learn different skills. A place to increase self-esteem and social skills. A place to learn about a better future. An opportunity for teenagers to give back to the community.
