2 Pre Smile4life An Action Plan for Improving Oral Health and Modernising the NHS Dental Services in Scotland (2005) Recommendation “to develop and deliver oral health care preventative support programmes for adults most in need such as prisoners and the homeless”

3 2007 – to present day Provision of oral health packs to local authority, third sector and private services supporting homelessness and inequalities Deliver oral health awareness training to staff within services 2007 = 37 2013 = 62

4 Transition to Smile4life Launched with a training event in June 2012 2 Control and 2 Intervention Boards selected - NHS Forth Valley is an Intervention Board Two programmes currently co-existing – local programme and Smile4life

5 2013 Smile4life Implementing HoPSCOTCH Evaluation Protocol Identified services working with clients that met the Roofless and Houseless Typologies for HoPSCOTCH Communication with Health and Homelessness partnership, Housing Services Development Officer, Strategic Housing Service Manager
