4 Partner profile Carlsberg Asia Pte. Ltd: –Set up in 2000 by Carlsberg Breweries AS and TCC group. –To create significant brewing company in Asia. –Location based in Singapore –Key success: has experience and technologies inherited from the mother company and strong partnership with TCC group.

5 Partner profile Lao government: –Used to own company before with joint venture between itself and French investor, known as Brasseries et Glacières du Laos (BGL) –1975, rename Lao Brewery Co.Ltd –1993 reformed the joint venture: Government Loxley (public) Co.Ltd and Italian-Thai (public) Co.Ltd –Key success: Strategic location Monopoly

6 Partner profile TCC group: –One of the largest business in Southeast Asia –Privately-owned, focused on the production of beer and distilled liquor products. –Currently holds 80% of the Thai liquor market and over 70% of the beer market with annual sales in excess of 100 million cases. –TCC with Carlsberg Thailand launched Beer Chang in 1991 –Market share:75%, No 1 in Thai –Key success: strong financial and business experience in liquor industry
