For Lamar county the exhibit shows approx. 5 acres of drainage for each AF of storage. For this location we have 47.9 acres and should be able to supply 47.9/5.0=9.6 AF of storage. This location we need our water yield to supply approx. a max of 5.5 AF. So the pond has adequate water yield. Computer models such as RESOP or SPAW can be used for this determination if needed.

(96.0-89.9) of natural depth and will pick up additional depth from the borrow area in front of the pond. For this pond the constructed front bottom depth was El. 86.0 for a depth of 10.0 ft. (96.0-86.0).
