Plebeians demand Equality At first, all government officals were patricians PLEBEIANS: farmers, merchants, artisans, and traders had little say even though they were the majority This changes in 450 BCE Creation of the Law of the Twelve Tables Plebes form a Tribune, which represented their interests against the Patricians and could VETO laws they felt unfair to plebeian interests
