2. Provisions in APPR Act APPR Act was initiated after the 73 rd Amendment. According this Act State Election Commission was Constituted. State Finance Commission has completed three consecutive terms and the 4 th is due. Three Terms of Elected Representatives was completed successfully and awaiting for the 4 th cycle of Elections. 33.3% reservation was provided to women in Local Bodies according to the Sec. 15 (d) of APPR Act. 50% reservation is going to be provided from 4 th cycle elections onwards in PRIs.
