6 Work to date Survey of current practice Survey of the evidence base/narrative review Working parallel to Offender Health Research Network’s programme to develop a data-set for CJLD interventions

7 Key findings from narrative review (1) Need for clear inter and intra-agency shared definitions of Liaison and Diversion L&D should be developed as part of local cross- agency pathways, not isolated services Need for post diversion infrastructure, underpinned by a collective commissioning strategy L&D services should be accessible when required by clients and not constrained by established staff working patterns

8 Key findings from narrative review (2) Individuals and their behaviours should not be inappropriately pathologised Need for minimum data sets on both activity and outcomes, and agreed outcome measures Need for a consistent skill mix and training that combines knowledge and skills from CJS, health, wider public and independent sectors

9 Timetable Launch of Network with national conference (November 28) Regional events (2013 and 2014) Engagement with schemes to develop - Workforce and training guidance (Oct 2013) - Good practice and commissioning guidance (Jan 2014) - Quality standards (March 2014)
