1 Water’s Color Art and the Anacostia October 6 th 2013 from 1-6 pm Bladensburg Waterfront Park Celebrate Washington DC’s other river through art and exploration. Naturalists will lead guided tours of the area. Artists will help you represent what you see. You will love what you see, what you do, and the River Art show to display the art to be schedule at River Road Unitarian Church, Bethesda, MD late 2013. At the art show, the Anacostia Watershed Society, Friends of Quincy Run and Anacostia Riverkeepers will be on hand to talk further about the watershed and its restoration. October 6 th 1-6 pm, 2013 Bladensburg Waterfront Park, 4601 Annapolis Rd Bladensburg, MD 20710 This project is my Girl Scout Gold Award project, Girl Scouting’s highest award. My goal is to reduce stigma through art and to inspire a lasting commitment to the river among participants.
