Who Can Participate Democracy Dictatorship Autocracy –
Direct Only work in small communities Indirect (AKA REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY) Dictatorship Oldest and most common form historically Often Hold TOTAL and complete control over all aspects of life Autocracy – Oligarchy – (usually elite) Often look like a democracy
