The key to success with Video is Consistency It is far more important to make some sort of branded video consistently than 1 super slick produced video once and a while The ONLY way to ensure consistency is to block out the time to do it

Your Dr. tells you “If you do this 2 hour workout, once a week, in a short time you will be healthier than you have ever been”. Would you make time for that 2 hour workout?

Video is the 2 hour workout for your business Just like your health, you must work on the health of your business………Long Term There is no right day, right time to block out What is your slowest day? When are you least likely to be disturbed? Give yourself 2 hours to complete the strategy Script Record Edit (if necessary) Upload Send Out *Extra Promo if you like

Step 1 – Create your “Script” Begin with easy subjects: Community/Area events Great Restaurant experiences Did you Know’s about Loan Products Answer FAQ’s

Always begin your videos with introducing yourself Remind them who you are, and what you do “Hey folks, it’s Paul Baxter with Legacy Mortgage here.” After you introduce yourself, tell them exactly what your video is about “I’m here with this week’s community bulletin” “I’m here with this week’s FAQ answer” “I’m here with this week’s Out on the Town” “I’m here with an update for you First Time Homebuyers” This part will remain fairly consistent with your videos

Deliver your content quickly and clearly Do NOT repeat yourself Give benefits not features “The Dunedin Farmers market is this Saturday the 17 th from 10:00 to 6:00 on Main st. It’s always great to sample the local goods and find new favorites.” “I am often asked, How much will my down payment be? The down payment is based on SO AND SO.” “Checked out the new Salty Dog café last night on the town. It is a great place to enjoy a game and light eats with friends. Not a place to take your date.” “FHA rules have changed. This means major savings for you over the life of your loan.”

Always have some sort of action step to take Not always directed at “business” action, but that’s what branding is…business and personal “Head out to Dunedin this weekend. I hope to bump into you there” “With my Mortgage Readiness Check, I can tell you exactly how much your Buying Power is and what your specific down payment would be. Hit the record button and go through your script Do not stop the recorder every time you make a mistake Pause for a 3 count, then begin from the start It is much easier to remove the mess ups and leave a good read through than try to patch together your script In the beginning it will take you several read throughs to get a clean read through

The audio needs to be good, but does not need to be perfect Avoid windy areas Make sure you limit background noise Have as much light as you can get. Again it does not need to be perfect You will get better and better with sound and lighting as you do more and more videos

Upload the raw recording to YouTube.com In your phones Gallery select the video you recorded (like you are watching it) When you are on the recording touching the screen will show you option (top bottom or side) Select the “Share” option

From the share option select the YouTube icon

Go to youtube.com and change the view from public to private

Once the upload is complete, cut out the mistakes and leave the clean read through Use YouTubes built in editor to do so
