13 General Supervision Monitoring (GSM) Pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004, §§300.600 and 300.149(a)(1)(2), and the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE), R 340.1839, the Office of Special Education (OSE) must ensure the educational programs for students with disabilities are administered in accordance with federal and state standards. Pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) 2004, §§300.600 and 300.149(a)(1)(2), and the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE), R 340.1839, the Office of Special Education (OSE) must ensure the educational programs for students with disabilities are administered in accordance with federal and state standards.
