2.  Anubis is the God that protects the mummified body in the after life.  Most times Anubis is associated with mummification and his funeral role he plays.  Anubis is also one of the most important gods because he weights the heart in the after life.

3.  In “Night of the Museum” Larry gets chased by Anubis idols in the Egyptian exhibit  In an episode of “The Backyardigans” there were Anubis statues.  In Doctor Who they had a episode called “Curse of Anubis”  In the video game Ledged of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Anubis resembles fire breathing jackal head.

4.  True Bloods- Anubis airlines since he protects the dead.  “ Lost” Anubis is seen in hieroglyphics on an island’s temple  Nickelodeon “House of Anubis”  In the video “Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy” Anubis plays an important role.

5.  In the Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan Anubis plays the role of a teenager.  “ Mummies Alive” Anubis plays a small role as a not so smart villain.  In Yu-Gi-Oh! The movie: Pyramid of Light Anubis appears.

6.  In todays society Anubis seem to be a not so friendly figure in many circumstances.  Others they don’t give him his evil vibe like most people give him.

7.  In my opinion Anubis does seem like the type of guy you don’t want to mess with because he could be the guy that can rip you to shreds without having a guilty conscious.
