14. Click “Apply Changes”

18. Click Activities

19. Click Assessments

20. Click Test

21. Click Create

22. Fill in the information

23. Fill in the instructions and click submit

24. Notice Your computer may look different from mine for the next few steps. That is okay, we will walk through the next steps and everything will be okay.

25. Open up Sound Recorder

26. Your sound recorder will look something like this:

27. Get your first question that you are going to read:

28. Click Record and read the question

29. When you are finished reading the question, click Stop Recording

30. A “Save As” screen should pop up

31. Click New Folder

32. Rename your folder “Practice Test” and click Open

33. Name your file “Number Sentence” and click “Save”

34. Go Back to Coursesites and click “Create Question

35. Then Click Multiple Choice

36. Title the Question “Number Sentence”

37. Fill in the question text but not the answer choices

38. Scroll down in the page and choose your options

39. Choose “Capital Letters” for answer numbering

40. Do NOT choose “Show answers in random order”

41. Fill in the answer choices

42. The correct answer is #3, so click the radio button for that question

44. Scroll back to the top

45. Look for this toolbar

46. Look for “Insert/Edit Embedded Media

48. Click“Insert/Edit Embedded Media

49. A popup will open. Select “Windows Media” as type

50. Click “Browse My computer”

51. Find your file in the folder you created

52. File is “practice test”

53. Click on the audio file named “Number Sentence”, then click “open”

54. Be patient while it loads

55. After the media file loads, it will play.

56. Resize your file by changing the first dimension to 100

57. Click “Submit”

58. Your question will now appear in the test. Repeat adding questions until finished.

59. Click OK at the bottom of the screen

60. Highlight the test name and click “submit”

61. Test Options screen will open

62. Scroll down to “Test Availability”

63. Click the radio button to make the link available

64. Click Submit
