 If you take spoon full of the mud from the swamp there will be over one million different types of microscopic bugs.  The mangrove swamp root system runs through the whole swamp.  The water at high tide gets above the roots and above about half the tree each day.

 The saltwater crocodiles that live there are rare because they are all about 17-24 feet long in the river.  The sea snake gets up to about 2 feet long, and it has 10 times the venom than a king cobra and also has a Patel like tail to aid it in its swim.

 The black mangrove tree live more inland on the dry land and has what you call air roots witch can take in carbine dioxide though the sand and water at the same time.  The red mangrove lives seaward some people call the tree a tree on stilts because the roots get so high out of the ground that it looks like it is in the air.

 The coniferous forest takes up 15% of earth land surface.  There is two different types of coniferous forest 1.the trees are spread apart with wide open space 2.the trees are all packed together and on open space.  The giant sequoia tree are the longest living life form on earth some of them are livingto3,000 years old and counting.

 The bald eagle is endangered species but population is growing and there nests can weight up to about 1 ton and 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide.  The Siberian tiger population is decreasing and there is only about 350 to 450 left in the wild.

 The balsam fir tree can live up to 200 years of age it can also get up to 40- 60 feet in the air and is about 1 ½ feet tall  The black spruce tree has its branches are at a angle because of the heave snow in the winter so the branches don’t brak.
