California Mental Health Policy Forum Feb 9 – 11, San Diego “The MHSA: A New Vision for California” –Feb 9: Consumer & Family Pre Conference –Feb 10: Keynotes: Focus on “big picture” Workshops: Information to inform program planning Brief policy discussion –Feb 11: Focus on MHSA State Director, Panel MH & MD on role of medical directors in MHSA planning, County strategies

6. Support to Systems of Care Planning Mid March: One to Two Day Statewide Orientation and Capacity Building Session for Stakeholder Planning –Continues orientation, clarification and training on stakeholder planning process –Outreach to ensure diverse participation –Provide trained facilitators for participation and regional ongoing consultation and support to local teams –Plan next steps for ongoing regional support

7. Support to Systems of Care Planning Regional Orientation and Capacity Building Sessions –Estimated to be monthly through July, frequency after that TBD. –Building on statewide meeting, orientation and training on stakeholder planning process –Provide trained facilitators for participation and regional ongoing county specific consultation and support to local teams –Provide training, problem solving, shared learning –Plan agenda for next session. Consider smaller regional groupings if needed
